32 years and counting

I turned 32 years old yesterday! To celebrate, Catherine and I dropped off Sydnee with the Hoffmans and then went to the Mariners game. It was our first chance to see 19-year-old pitching phenom Felix Hernandez. To put in perspective how old I feel, when I was graduating from high school he was starting kindergarten. Unfortunately he did not pitch well, having been unable to get control of his 97 mph fastball. So the M's lose another game in a season that was written off several months ago. The highlight of the game was my name up on the big screen for a happy birthday announcement - my 5 seconds of fame. Catherine remembered this year.
